Nine plus years in the making, I am happy to announce the availability of a very important document. Accomplishments of the Viktor Schreckengost Studios is an overview of the activities of the entity created for the conservation, cataloging, and sharing of the legacy of Viktor Schreckengost, America’s Da Vinci. The document is a tribute to the 397 organizations and 1023 individuals, who, like me, believe Viktor Schreckengost is a wonder of the modern world and feel his influence can still make a difference in yet millions of more lives.
The document itself is 136 pages long, most of those pages being in the appendices. The summaries at the beginning take just a couple of minutes to skim. If you have essentially no time, please just take in the preface and the personal and organizational acknowledgements which I have republished on this blog in separate posts. You can use the search function on this site to find your name or organization.
There are two documents available:
- Accomplishments of the Viktor Schreckengost Studios (for print)
- Accomplishments of the Viktor Schreckengost Studios (for screen)
They are both PDF files. They differ only in the orientation of the graphics within them.
I have given up, for time time being, trying to get the print version of the document available on Lulu.com. Lulu is particular and not very willing to help sort things out. If you know someone who understands the ins and outs of pdf files and pre-press work, I’d sure appreciate the lead.
